How many students will Camp Rockstar have?
Enrollment is limited to 80 students so apply early.
If I apply and get turned down will I be refunded?
Yes. If you are turned down you will be refunded in full. However, you can request to be put on top of the list for next year.
Do I need my own instrument?
Students are encouraged to bring their own gear. Camp Rockstar will provide PA systems. We will also provide full backline (premium amps, drum kit, mics, etc.) for the auditorium, which is where all concerts will take place. We can help you to rent a guitar, bass, guitar amp, bass amp, drums, keyboards, microphones, stands, cables, etc. if need be. Students are also encouraged to bring extra strings, sticks, picks, cables, etc. A guitar or bass tuner and metronomes are also a good idea. Students are responsible for their own belongings. Camp Rockstar will not be held accountable for theft or damage of personal property.
What if I play in a band already?
Camp Rockstar is perfect for your whole band. Your group will be given the opportunity to refine and expand your abilities, polish your songs, learn new songs, and create a really hot show.
Will transportation be available?
Students can arrange their own travel to and from camp. However, should you need transportation a bus will be available at an additional cost.
Will accommodations be available?
Students stay in dorm-style rooms at Augustana Campus. Students will be required to bring their own bedding, ie: sleeping bag and pillow.
What if I have food allergies?
Special diets can be accommodated. Please see the registration form and make sure you notify Camp Rockstar staff in advance of the camp.
How much does it cost?
Camp Rockstar is $399 +gst per 5 day camp. Payment is accepted by Cash, Cheque, or Credit Card at Visionary College, St. Albert, #30, 580 St. Albert Trail.
